Dr Clint Hampson
Dr Clint Hampson is a criminal defence lawyer and forensic scientist with over 15 years of experience. He holds a PhD in Forensic Science and has worked internationally as a senior lecturer and forensic advisor. Clint has provided consultancy to government, legal teams, and the private sector, specialising in areas such as blood pattern analysis, DNA, digital forensics, fingerprints, ballistics, and more. His unique dual expertise in law and forensic science underpins the quality and reliability of Forensic Solutions WA’s consultancy services.
CASE STUDY: Scott Austic Case
Scott Austic was wrongfully jailed for the murder of his pregnant girlfriend and sentenced to 25 years in prison. Thanks to detailed forensic investigations by Dr Hampson, Scott Austic was acquitted at his retrial and given an ex-gratia payment of $1.6million by the State government.
